Job Title : Cybersecurity Analyst - Application Security, Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Management
Job Type : W2 / C2C / 1099
Experience : 5-10 Years
Location : Fortworth, Texas
Responsibilities
- Proven hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking.
- Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, including identification and mitigation techniques.
- Practical experience with a variety of security testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex security data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Kali Linux and its security testing toolkit.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or similar.
- Experience in application security, penetration testing, or a similar role.
- Develop and maintain custom security testing scripts and tools to enhance our security testing capabilities.
- Stay current on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, with a strong focus on OWASP Top 10.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, and remediation recommendations, and communicate these to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
