Information System Security Engineer to to work with agile development teams to review application risks, identify weaknesses, and implement remediation actions. The ideal candidate is someone experienced with deploying virtual machines (Docker Containers), conducting security and vulnerability scans, and application security testing. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong analytic, and communication skills. Working knowledge and understanding of application cybersecurity toolsets used for DevSecOps is desirable.

Requirements
Essential Functions
- Responsible for, support of, and coordinating with other Engineers, Architects, and teams in implementing a comprehensive cloud and application cybersecurity program
- Hands on experience with ESXi, VMWare, Linux, Windows AD, SCAP, and remediating STIG findings
- Review, assess, and create documentation including Statement of Objectives (SOO)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Experience in implementing and enforcing application cybersecurity and vulnerability management
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) years or more of Cybersecurity related experience
- Understanding of RMF, eMASS, POA&Ms, ACAS, and Vulnerability Management
- Experience conducting Information Systems vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation, and application of mitigation strategies

- DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II Certified (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at higher
