The Vice President, Integration will coordinate and execute the integration of new assets and implementation of JVs and strategic partnerships, oversee establishment of new business segments, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration in alignment with strategic objectives and value maximization. Partner cross-functionally with compliance, legal, HR, finance, IT, data analytics, operations, PMO and other teams as appropriate to integrate and operationalize functional activities.
Job Duties
Develop standard integration approach and playbooks to enable integration at scale and across the enterprise
Provide executive leadership, direction, guidance, and consultation for integration in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan and objectives.
Execute integration of new assets from internal build or from newly acquired healthcare facilities, practices, or entities
Partner with operational leadership to identify areas for collaboration and integration of services
Work collaboratively with M&A and Strategy on due diligence and evaluation of acquisitions.
Manage the pipeline of de-novo builds and oversee builds of new business segments or within existing businesses, working closely with the executive teams from business units
Experience
Extensive experience in healthcare integration projects of varying sizes to include both care delivery and health plans.
Proven track record in a variety of organizational structures, joint ventures (JVs) and strategic partnerships
Experience in various aspects of healthcare, such as hospital administration, health plan operations, outpatient services, ambulatory care, value based reimbursement or other healthcare segments that could provide valuable insights
Skills and Knowledge
Strong understanding of care delivery and health plan operations, industry trends, emerging models of care delivery, healthcare technologies, and payment systems
Change management expertise
Proficiency in project management crucial for overseeing complex integration projects, JVs, and new business segment implementations
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Juris Doctor degree preferred or equivalent experience.
