About The Role
As a Systems Engineer at One Legal, you will play a pivotal role in advancing both our production and internal infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining production environments to ensure seamless and efficient operations, scaling and enhancing our network and infrastructure to support growth and improve performance, optimizing the performance and reliability of One Legal's applications to deliver a superior user experience, enhancing our monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution, and ensuring the security and compliance of our environments, aligning with industry standards and regulations. You will work under the general supervision of the Cloud Infrastructure Manager, collaborating with a dedicated team to drive our infrastructure initiatives forward.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and managing our internal and customer facing infrastructure
- Maintain and optimize our cloud infrastructure to improve performance, ensure stability, and manage costs
- Participate in afterhours maintenance and upgrade exercises and be part of an on-call rotation.
- Enable / Unblock the engineering team and provide them with the tools they need to deliver innovation at scale
- Enable strategies and solutions to achieve the fastest recovery in the case of incidents.
- Assist in the design and building of infrastructure that is resilient for all critical systems to meet our uptime SLA's
- Work with other stakeholders to ensure that the business meets all compliance and security standards and requirements
- Work with other stakeholders to build and maintain our monitoring and alerting systems
- Assist in the development and maintenance of robust automation processes utilizing the latest technologies
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in system administration and engineering experience, preferably in medium to large scale Windows based production environments
- 3+ years experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure, preferably in Azure
- 3+ years experience administering firewall and routing technologies in cloud environments
- 3+ years experience with application Integration and SSO experience is preferred
- 3+ years experience with Linux administration
- Experience working alongside and supporting software engineers
- Professional certifications (Microsoft Certified, CKA, HashiCorp, Cisco, etc.) are preferred but not required
- Subject matter expertise with network administration, design, architecture, and best practices
- Competency with Kubernetes and Terraform or Infrastructure as code preferred
- Experience with LDAP and AD system management and Windows Server and AD administration
- Experience with application setup and maintenance
- Demonstratable understanding of at least one scripting language, preferably PowerShell and comfortable with Python
- Strong problem-solving skills and Capable of and willing to handle other basic IT related issues
- Excellent customer support skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to be a part of an after-hours on call rotation
Compensation
The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.
$82,000 - $108,000 base pay
