Systems Engineer – DOORS (Remote)
We are looking for a Systems Engineer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
This is an 11-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a remote role in the US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
- Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Must have the ability to look at notes and glean requirements from them, do requirements development, and be able to enter them and manage the baseline of requirements in DOORS. Must be able to work with the test team to ensure the requirements in DOORS are set up in such a way that the test team can write test cases.
- Must have experience with DOORS.
- Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation: $100/hr - $125/hr
