Our consumer services client has an immediate need for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project/Program Manager to join their PMO. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex Infrastructure related IT programs and projects, which must include cybersecurity. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Targeting East Coast based candidates. This role works ET hours. Must live in US.
Position is 100% remote. Long term contract (IC or W2). Sorry, no 3rd parties. Client is unable to consider candidates needing sponsorship now or at anytime in the future (must be GC, USC, GC-EAD)
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
- Manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to procure necessary resources and services for project implementations
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, leadership, and project teams on a regular basis
- Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to assess project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements (LEAN)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related experience
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in facilities planning, including space management, layout design, and infrastructure requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, ITIL, LEAN or other relevant certifications preferred.
