Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to shape and lead the company’s technology vision, AI strategy, and customer-centric innovations. This
is not an IT role—the CTO will not run internal IT infrastructure but will instead
drive product-platform development, automation, and advanced analytics to ensure RSi remains a leader in revenue cycle transformation.
As a pivotal member of the
Executive Team, the CTO will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work alongside the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Chief Information/Chief Security Officer (CIO/CISO), Chief Client Officer (CCO), Chief of Staff (CoS), and VP of Human Resources. This role requires
a strategic thinker, an execution-driven leader, and a cultural fit—someone who recognizes that technology should drive business growth, empower teams, and elevate the customer experience.
Job Responsibilities - Technology Strategy & Innovation
- Define and execute RSi’s technology roadmap, focusing on AI, automation, analytics, and platform development.
- Research and implement emerging technologies (AI, ML, automation, etc.) to enhance RSi’s revenue cycle services.
- Ensure all tech investments align with business growth, market needs, and competitive differentiation.
- AI, Automation & Digital Transformation
- Develop AI-driven automation strategies to optimize patient debt collection, insurance recovery, and self-pay workflows.
- Enhance operational efficiency by automating key revenue cycle processes.
- Drive innovation in real-time data insights for internal teams and clients.
- Customer-Facing Product & Platform Development
- Lead the development of scalable, technology platform integrations to enhance customer engagement.
- Build and deploy data-driven products that improve hospital partnerships and financial outcomes.
- Ensure usability, security, and scalability of all customer-facing technology.
- Advanced Analytics & Data Intelligence
- Develop RSi’s next-generation analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
- Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance predictive modeling, revenue cycle forecasting, and decision intelligence.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into RSi’s service offerings.
- Building & Leading a High-Impact Tech Team
- Recruit and develop top-tier engineers, AI experts, and data scientists.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and execution within the technology team.
- Align closely with the CIO/CISO organization, ensuring collaboration while maintaining clear functional separation.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance (in Collaboration with CIO/CISO)
- Ensure technology solutions adhere to HIPAA, SOC 1, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the CIO/CISO to integrate security best practices into product and platform development without compromising speed and innovation.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Effective communication in conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building relationships, and driving strategic alignment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise healthcare platforms (EPIC, Meditech, Cerner, etc.).
- Background in customer-facing technology, driving usability and engagement.
- Ability to align technology investments with business strategy and revenue growth.
Education And Experience
- Previously or currently serves as a CTO for a larger organization
- 10-20+ years of technology leadership in healthcare, fintech, or SaaS platforms.
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, and automation
- Experience building and scaling tech teams from the ground up.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at times.
