Position Overview
The Department is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure solutions to meet the state's technological needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, scripting, workload management, and storage solutions
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Linux system administration, particularly with Ubuntu.
- 10+ years of proficiency in Bash and Python scripting, with experience in pipeline automation.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Slurm workload manager, including installation, configuration, and job troubleshooting.
- 10+ years of expertise in cluster and storage management, specifically with NAS systems like Qumulo, and data synchronization tools like rsync.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with additional workload management tools and storage solutions.
- Certifications in relevant technologies and methodologies.
