Akkodis is seeking a – “Sr. Patch Management Admin” for a Contract position with a client located Bonita Springs, FL.
Pay Range: $50-$55/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).

- A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of administration experience
- An Associate Degree and 5 years related experience
- 8 years related experience.
- 5 years of experience with domain controllers, Active Directory, group policies, and a Microsoft Windows environment required
- ITIL certification a plus
- Recent MCSA, CompTIA+, or CISSP certifications a plus
- Other IT related certification favourable
Top 3-5 Technical Skills
- 5 years of experience with domain controllers, Active Directory, group policies, and a Microsoft Windows environment required
- Experience with vulnerability management, enterprise remediation efforts, patch management, and system hardening
- Experience with performance monitoring software
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.
- Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
- Experience with security principles and general software management best practices
Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities
- Document and update all software package activities like installation issues, modifications/corrections to the software package, reported issues and delays.
- Test software packages
- Create a software package installation report following the unsuccessful completion of a software Package RFC.
- Review all Microsoft releases for desktop operating system security updates and create/submit a software package
- Review Information from Herc Rentals IT security and determine scope of vulnerability impact and remediate all affected systems.
- Deployment of updates and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities, and develop effective remediation plans
- Support application/system owners to manage risks and remediate vulnerabilities
- Plan and execute vulnerability remediations in a methodical and well documented manner
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, vulnerability identification and remediation, processes, and service records.
- Monitor and maintain awareness of critical vulnerabilities, addressing them through patch management or by following mitigating processes to reduce impact
- Provide technical support to end-users to help them troubleshoot security-related issues
- Manage the process of applying patches and upgrades to systems and applications to ensure they are up-to-date and secure.
- Monitor ITSM ticketing and vulnerability management systems for new vulnerability notifications and systems administration tasks
- Demonstrates a commitment to total quality and the process of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with approved Corporate and company IT policies.
- Perform other assigned duties as required
