Your role within the team
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing local and cloud-based platforms, handling escalated end-user support incidents, and maintaining the performance and availability of infrastructure systems. This role involves working closely with global IT teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues, as well as developing technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The IT Systems Administrator will also enforce compliance and security measures across endpoints and network components. The role requires the ability to commute to our Orlando office near UCF 3-5 days per week.
Duties and responsibilities
- Administrate, support, and optimize local and cloud-based platforms.
- Handle escalated end-user support incidents and requests.
- Maintaining the highest level of infrastructure systems performance and availability.
- Handle technical escalations with the global IT teams and 3rd parties.
- Develop IT operations technical documents and SOPs.
- Implement necessary measures to enforce compliance & security on endpoints and network components.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, or other or equivalent experience.
- Experience with ITSM tools and ITIL foundations.
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies, such as 365 Admin centers, Active Directory, Azure, DNS/DHCP, Exchange, M365, and SharePoint.
- Hands-on experience in network switching and routing in addition to Cisco/Meraki and Ubiquiti firewalls.
- Strong command of PowerShell and automation tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems, Microsoft 365 platforms, and Active Directory,
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn and adopt new concepts and technologies.
- Able to work in a fast-growing multicultural environment.
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, or other cloud certifications are preferred.
- Amazon Seller Central experience is a plus.
