Role: Systems and Security Admin

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and Internet systems.
- Analyze workflow, access, information, and security requirements.
- Maintain and monitor network security, applying necessary patches and compliance measures.
- Implement and manage security policies, ensuring adherence to NIST, CIS, HIPAA, and PCI standards.
- Oversee both on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP a plus).
- Manage system hardening, group policies, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Utilize monitoring tools like Splunk, Puppet, and Syslog for proactive system management.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot critical system issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years as a Systems Administrator in a Windows or Linux environment.
- Hands-on experience in server administration, cybersecurity compliance, and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto NGFW, Unix, Linux, VMware, and enterprise networking.
- Must meet Department of Revenue Security Clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing 100+ servers in a large enterprise setting.
- Proficiency with Google Apps and system hardening techniques.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Tenable, or Tanium for endpoint security.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, GIAC, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
