About Mintt
Mintt seeks to give campaigns and progressive organizations an unprecedented look into the offline communications voters receive every day, allowing them to more strategically and efficiently allocate resources than ever before.
As a tech startup with an eye toward traditional campaign tactics, Mintt blends old school and new school – and we’re looking to add people to our team who are interested in solving the problems that arise when trying to bridge that gap. We’re looking for mission-driven individuals who are committed to creating a better experience for the growing roster of important campaigns and organizations who use our products.
Mintt is an equal-opportunity employer. We believe in the strength that diversity brings to our organization, and we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace. We encourage individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups to apply.
About The Position
In 2024, Mintt’s first year on the market, we shipped several products that integrated off-the-shelf software (Survey Monkey, Retool, Mail Chimp, and a rewards processor called Tremendous) within a cloud environment as a scaled pilot of our platform. That pilot was remarkably successful as we recruited over 2,000 panelists submitting content across 9 states and nearly broke even in our first year.
In 2025, we’re going to build our own platform and apps based on what we learned in that successful pilot. That’s where you come in: we’re looking for a technical leader to join our team and own the technical vision and development. We are intentionally tech stack agnostic and are looking for someone who can evaluate our needs and make strategic architecture and technology decisions. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, offering the opportunity to shape our technology strategy and build a team.
You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing the core platform, which combines advanced computer vision capabilities and sophisticated data processing pipelines to analyze millions of pieces of content from our panels. You’ll also be responsible for the “nodes” of the platform: the apps that panelists and clients interact with.
This role is for someone who is equally excited about writing production code, making critical architectural decisions, and mentoring team members. You'll work closely with our founding team to translate our vision into products that ship, while also establishing the engineering culture that will drive our future success.
Initially, you'll be hands-on setting up our technical foundation and shipping code (with support from the founding team, head of design, and contractors). As we grow, your hands-on responsibilities will shrink as you hire and lead a small engineering team. Our target for the first round of additional hires is Q4 2025.
This role reports directly to the CEO.

- Lead the technical architecture and development of our platform (which includes a client-facing dashboard, a panelist web experience, and internal pipelines and tooling)
- Build and maintain scalable data processing pipelines for real-time analytics
- Write production code and implement critical platform features
- Work closely with product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Manage technical contractors initially, growing to lead a small engineering team
- Make key technical decisions that will shape the future of our platform
- Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and technical excellence
First Year Focus (75% hands-on development, 25% leadership)
