Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud Solution Architecture. This role is hybrid with no travel required. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance our technological capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and ensure seamless integration.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure standards and documentation.
- Oversee the migration of existing applications and data to cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements in cloud deployments.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance cost and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of cloud service providers and tools.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on cloud technologies and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing.
- Contribute to the development of cloud governance frameworks and policies.
- Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud environments.
- Technology Stack: MS Visio, Snow, MS Excel, SharePoint, VMWare, VROps, MS SQL-AlwaysOn, DB2 HADR, Familiarity with IBM MQ, Containerization in OpenShift, F5 load balancer, Clustering technologies, etc.
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience in Cloud Solution Architecture.
- Should possess strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Must have experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Should have a solid understanding of networking security and identity management in cloud environments.
- Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Should possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Nice to have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Nice to have relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $79,240 - $154,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
