Our client is seeking a Senior Server Analyst to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring, supporting, and optimizing all networked software, associated operating systems and communication links. The Senior Server Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. Responsibilities include server hardware and operating system management, Active Directory management, corporate backup process, systems and network activity monitoring and produce performance reports, evaluation of new technology for possible implementation to improve existing infrastructure. This position has a critical role in ensuring all data used and generated will be continually accessible and protected.
Requirements
-Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in an Information Technology related program.
-5+ years’ experience administering Windows servers
-Valid driver’s license (occasional travel between AITF sites may be required)
-Installation and administration of server hardware, VMWare ESX hosts and clients, and Windows Server
Desirables
-Installation and administration of Microsoft products: • Active Directory and ADFS • SQL Server • Exchange Server • DFS • SharePoint • Nintex Forms and Workflow
-Installation and administration of other vendor’s products: • TrendMicro Scanmail • VEEAM and Acronis backup • Metalogix StoragePoint and Archive Manager • Solarwinds
-Good understanding of networking and related products: • Cisco and Brocade switching • Fortinet firewall • PulseSecure VPN server • ITIL and MCSA certification
Personal skills and experience
-Demonstrated contributions in a team setting
-Self-starter with very good planning and prioritization skills
-Excellent skills in spoken and written English (written test may be required)
-Strong customer service orientation
-Willingness and ability to work after hours when required
