Parts Puller / Order filler Associates ~ Merrillville, IN

Our NWI Auto Supply Warehouse of Merrillville, IN is currently seeking an individual for IMMEDIATE employment, this individual must be hardworking to join our team. We are taking applications for a full-time associate, in the parts puller / order filler position.

This is a fast paced, high energy position. A successful applicant will be able to be on their feet for longer periods of time with a self disciplined, high energy drive. This is a physical position in a fast pace environment.

* Must live within a reasonable distance.

Starting wage: $15hr.

Job Description:

A Parts Puller position is centered on accumulating customer’s daily orders, properly packaging these order up for shipments. A successful applicant will be able to be on their feet for longer periods of time with a self disciplined, high energy drive. There is a lot of walking and stairs and attention to detail is paramount.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately Pulling Customer Orders
Properly/Securely Packaging Product for Shipment into Totes and onto Pallets
Loading and unloading delivery trucks
Good Communication Skills
Ability to use Hand Held Scanners
Product inspection
Preparing parts for various warehouse locations and Company Stores
Lifting, stacking, wrapping and securing parts to transfer or for shipment to other locations
The position could include long periods of standing and moderate lifting
Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Receiving stock orders
Stocking shelves
Pulling part orders from warehouse shelves
Perform other duties as requested. Must be open to learning different jobs and tasks.
