DescriptionOracle's Revenue Operations (RevOPS) North America Customer Solution Center team is hiring a Distributed Cloud Solutions Architect who will architect comprehensive and competitive solutions/services utilizing Oracle Distributed Cloud Strategy (Hybrid Cloud, Multicloud and Dedicated Regions). This person will lead complex multi-platform presales engagements for RevOPS Oracle Solution Center and articulate solution and services to prospective clients and customers.
This is a senior architect position and twenty plus (20+) years in this field is desirable in order to provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. You will lead the facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
Seeking candidates with deep knowledge of cloud offerings and certifications from AWS, Azure, and GCP with design and implementation knowledge of Data Lakes, Federated Queries, Business Analytics is preferred. Additional knowledge with Exadata, Teradata, Oracle, NoSQL, Data Lake & Data Vault Architectures, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker, Cloudera, Apache Spark, Storm, Hive, Presto, Kafka, Hadoop, Scoop. Snowflake is a plus.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Distributed Cloud Solution Architect (Master Principal Sales Consultant), you will:
- Be the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants.
- Focus on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
- Developsproductivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants.
- Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
- Lead any and all aspects of the technical sales process.
- Advise internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
