Job Description

-Need Architect who has architected cloud solutions, preferably using AWS
-Should have performed cloud assessment
-Familiar with AWS tools such as EC2, S3, lambda etc.
• Relational databases:
o Experience as an architect with any enterprise relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL etc.(NOT A DBA)
• No SQL and Big Data
o Experience as an architect with any enterprise NOSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, MarkLogic etc.
o Experience with any big data technologies like Hadoop

• Architecture:
o Has a startup mindset, rolls up sleeves and does PoC, proto typing to prove out concepts.
o Experience in designing and (re) architecting highly scalable applications at an enterprise level using proprietary or open source technologies
o Webservices, Service Oriented Architecture
o Micro services
o Experience working with large enterprise applications like PeopleSoft, SAP or anything else. The goal here is not to demonstrate skills in PS or SAP but rather show how to work with large enterprise apps
o Technically Hands on

• Cloud:
o Experience with cloud development on public clouds like AWS, Azure, Google cloud
o Understands design and best practices that enable applications to run effectively on cloud platforms
o Understands services/options available on cloud. For e.g., EC2, RedShift, RDS, S3 etc. Knows when to use what.
• Modern development technologies, methodology and practices
o Agile development
o Java, Angular JS
o Test driven development
o Continuous development using tools (Jenkins, Cruise Control etc.)
o Code review tools like Crucible
o Source Control like GIT

Nice to have:
1. Experience being a full stack developer
2. Experience with mobile development or understanding of mobile development
3. Experience in finance industry

Qualifications
