We are looking for engineers and product thinkers who have specific experience in other cloud platforms (eg Azure, AWS, GCP and others) to join a team at an early stage to envision, implement, and support the bold new future for companies doing business across cloud platforms.
Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
As a software engineer on this team, your responsibilities will include leading system design of major features and services, mentoring other engineers, writing high quality code at a high rate of speed, improving the extent of our code coverage and the automation of our testing and deployments.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Sound fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Experience with designing, launching and maintaining distributed systems at scale
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Java, Python, Golang etc.
- Expertise in building web applications, designing REST APIs and proficient in SQL, relational databases
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building an e-commerce platform
- Experience with virtualization and orchestration stacks
- Experience with building and deploying software services with cloud infrastructure providers is a plus
