Job Description:
The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native software applications on the AWS platform. This role is a key contributor to the Criminal Justice Exchange Program (CJEP) modernization, transforming the existing SoftwareAG-centric solution into a Cloud-Native AWS architecture. The developer will work with third-party vendors, state, and county systems to facilitate secure data sharing and API integrations.
- Develop AWS Cloud Applications using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, and State Machines. (8+ years)
- Implement Serverless Architectures using AWS Lambda & Python. (5+ years)
- Develop SOAP-Based Web Services with custom headers for security, authentication, and MTOM attachments (e.g., PDFs). (5+ years)
- Work with XML, XSD, WSDL to integrate SOAP-based services with cloud platforms. (5+ years)
- Ensure Code Quality & Scalability through automated testing, peer code reviews, and best practices. (5+ years)
- Collaborate in a SCRUM Agile Team with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Engineers to refine user stories and solutions. (3+ years)
- Troubleshoot & Optimize Cloud Applications in development, testing, and production environments. (5+ years)
- Stay Up to Date with AWS services, best practices, and cloud security standards. (5+ years)
