Description:System Admin’s Statement of Work:Security Vulnerabilities Patching and Application Updates and Deployments 80
This position assists in providing technical support to Security Vulnerabilities.
Patching and Application Patching and Deployments which includes the use of OIT's incident/change order system and the following activities:
Assist in the mission and support of the Tanium application and systems.
Monitor and follow up on assigned incidents/problems/change requestsFollow up on resolved/closed tickets to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide support for hardware and software issues over the phone, in person and/or remotely
Provide resolution and assistance for operating systems for Windows Server and Linux based systems
Provide resolution and assistance for Physical and Virtual servers
Deploy new or rebuilt computers and technology equipment based on OIT and agency security and operational policies
Support software and hardware patching, updating and deploymentsAssist with collaborating with Network, Application, Database and Server teams to resolve issues for assigned agencies.
Provide after-hours support for patching and updating security vulnerabilities and updates to applicationsBe able to respond to urgent security incidents as they arise during business hours and outside business hours.
Receive and/or log service incidents into ticketing system.
Reassign incident tickets related to other Information Technology Groups for further supportIT and Customer Service Management
Mandatory Skills
5 years System Admin experience
Good hands on experience as a Windows and Linux Admin
Hands on experience with Scripting, Powershell, Bash, Python.
Experience with cloud environment with AWS, Azure and GCP
