Peraton is seeking a DevOps server administrator who will work as part of the Information Technology team on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy's Tomahawk Missile program. You will be part of a motivated team that is responsible for optimizing and securing the development environment of a large, complex system for multiple hardware configurations and multiple applications. This role will be located in Santa Clara, CA and requires onsite work.
Your role will be to work as DevOps server administrator that is a part of the IT team. The primary work will be to maintain the operating systems and applications that make up our CI/CD pipeline. This includes
What you'll do:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure DevOps Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in alignment with organizational and enterprise IT objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure DevOps issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Monitor system performance, usage trends, and logs, implementing scalability, security enhancements, and performance optimizations as needed
- Ensure proper configuration management, access controls, and role-based security policies within Azure DevOps
- Provide technical mentorship to junior administrators and engineering teams, fostering DevOps best practices and process improvements
- Manage additional CI/CD pipeline applications including ModernRequirements4DevOps, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and system upgrades to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to DevOps Server administration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on the applications and server usage, features, and integrations.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
