Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Network Administrator role located in Houston, TX. The Network Administrator will be responsible for tasks such as network administration, software maintenance, system administration, network security, and database support to ensure the efficient operation of the organization's network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day technical operations of the firm. This would include working directly with all employees to ensure the firm's technology is performing well.
- Manage the inventory of IT assets such as desktop computers, printers, phones, etc.
- Provide daily desktop assistance to employees and handle technical issues.
- Collaborate with Firm Administrator to identify technology needs of the firm and provide creative and innovative suggestions for implementing new software.
- Participate in developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy and cybersecurity policies.
- Coordinate with outsourced IT provider to support the needs of the office.
- Perform technology assessments and current vendor selections to provide best practices and future integration.
- Assist with copier/printer maintenance and conference room AV equipment support.
Qualifications
- At least five (5) years experience in job related field.
- Law firm experience is required for this position.
- Troubleshooting and technical support skills.
- Superior knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with firewall and antivirus programs.
- Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Availability and willingness to be on-call to assist with technical issues.
