SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining all areas of IT equipment and systems including Office 365 and LAN/WAN.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages daily support (assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and repair) for all PC systems (hardware and software) and their peripherals at all branches.
- Escalates and coordinates issues with vendors when appropriate.
- Manages Office 365 accounts and acts as O365 Administrator.
- Maintains Onboarding/Offboarding employees with all business-based systems.
- Maintains phone systems both PBX and VoIP.
- Updates and manages Watchguard firewalls.
- Manages CCTV systems for remote access and troubleshooting.
- Manages company cellphones.
- Manages MDM (Meraki) for cellphones and tablets.
- Setups and maintains all company issued desktops and laptops, printers, installing all necessary software.
- Manages Public Cloud servers (AWS).
- Assesses and maintains data security (cybersecurity) creating policies and procedures as necessary.
- Manages one support staff System Administrator (to be filled in 2022).
- Directs the work activities of IT support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and overseeing projects, when needed.
- Acts as liaison to IT vendors, Comcast, Microsoft, etc.
- Responds to support issues, questions, comments, and requests in a courteous, timely manner.
- Provides needed information and demonstrations concerning PC and audio-visual system use.
- Keeps the Director of IT fully and accurately informed concerning work progress, including present and potential work problems and suggestions for new or improved ways of addressing such problems.
- Attends meetings, conferences, workshops, training sessions, and reviews materials to become and remain current on the principles, practices, and new developments in assigned work areas.
- Acts as a liaison between departments on related technological issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Other skills required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or 5+ years of systems administration experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365, Audio-visual systems, and related technology.
- Network infrastructure equipment (LAN/WAN).
- Display skill in communicating effectively and professionally with others, both orally and in writing, using technical and non-technical language.
- Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions.

- Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.
- Use logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions according to oral instructions and/or written specifications.
