Summary
- The Head of Technology is responsible for the development, operation, support, maintenance, risk management and improvement of the technology environment that supports the successful operation of the SFI Health Americas region, in line with SFI Health vision, strategies, and plans.
- To achieve this, Head of Technology will lead, manage and develop an internal SFI Americas Technology team, as well as outsourced suppliers and services providers
- Act as an advisor and partner to General Manager of the Americas region, who provides regional technology initiative prioritization and business context.
- Participate and contribute to the Americas region as an active member of the Regional Executive Team; being the voice of technology on what is technically possible within our systems, including the website.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the organization's information technology and systems including information and data integrity and technology functions including
- Ensure a stable and secure platform for the ongoing provision of services that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the information technology, data, and communications systems with a focus on utilization of digital tools to enhance the customer experience.
- Build, lead and motivate a highly professional, customer-oriented, innovative, and future-focussed IT function.
- Support growth by converting traditional analogue processes to digital processes, including promotion of mobile applications, social media and related applications.
- Align systems, structures and processes with business objectives and strategies in line with industry best practice.
- Provide leadership and governance of the Digital IT Strategy and Data Strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with standards and the organizations strategic direction.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, is strongly preferred
Experience:
- Must have D2C experience
- A background in "hands-on" technology roles, with an ability to be "hands-on" occasionally as required
- Strong experience in leading and managing technology teams with a proven ability to make positive cultural change
- Experience in effective supplier contract negotiation, creation, review, update, contribution to, and governing
- Experience in, and understanding of, program, project, schedule and sprint estimation and management
- Minimum 5 years proven ability to successful lead technology teams and suppliers who are responsible for developing, improving, supporting and maintaining some or all of:
- SAP (Finance, Sales and Distribution, Warehouse, Procurement, Production, Plant Maintenance)
- eCommerce and digital platforms (ideally MURA, Magento, Webflow, Shopify)
- CRM (ideally Hubspot) o Master Data Management strategies, operations and advice
- Data integration and API management
- Infrastructure, including data centers / rooms, hardware, networks, telecommunications
- Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Cyber controls
- Experience also leading teams responsible for End User Compute and / or Data Platforms would be thought of highly
- Experience in any of Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, Product Management, UX design, journey mapping or test management, would also be thought of highly
