Our client, a company that develops and operates video game consoles, digital services, and interactive entertainment experiences is looking for someone to join their team as a Business Analyst. This role is hybrid with 2 days onsite in San Mateo, California.
*This is a 3 month W2 contract*
In this role, you will work with multiple partners including legal, vendors, information security, accounting, and procurement teams. Projects will vary from one-time purchases to dynamic models with continuous refinement. The work you're doing will be used for strategic decisions including budget formation, contract negotiations, as well as legal process optimizations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate each phase and tasks associated with the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle (P2P) to ensure contracts and billings are carried out in a timely manner, expediting when needed.
- Collaborate with Legal team on contract terms and on content and delivery terms
- Work with Legal and Finance to resolve payment issues.
- Partner with Finance’s Corporate Planning team and budget leads to explain budget variances
- Develop relationships with vendors to manage costs and to ensure contracts reflect business requirements and company standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with outside counsel billing practices and e-billing. Experience with SimpleLegal or Adaptive Software a plus
- 3+ years of procure-to-pay or contract/vendor management experience, preferably in a Legal environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams. SAP and/or Conga Contracts experience is a plus.
- Spreadsheet analysis experience
