Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Summary
RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a DoD SECRET cleared Windows Systems Administrator to provide support to the Combined Orbital Operations Logistics and Resiliency (COOLR Sustainment) program.
Primary Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities of the Windows Systems Administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Perform daily systems administration and help desk tasks, to include building, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical and virtual systems across the Windows environment.
- Develop, deploy and maintain a WSUS environment and conduct monthly patching.
- Develop scripts using PowerShell, Ansible, or other similar tools to improve administration automation.
- Apply cybersecurity best practices to ensure high compliance status is met.
- Install, integrate, test, verify, and troubleshoot system updates/upgrades
- Maintain and develop documentation as necessary.
- Perform periodic COTS assessments to determine continued compliance, usage, and needs.
- Troubleshoot any issues and provide support across the Information System.
- Develop, integrate and install periodic releases per customer requirements
- Document efforts in various Job Aids, Standard Operating Procedures, and Turnover Documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum two - four years' experience in system administration of Windows-based servers and Windows-based workstations.
- Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+).
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
