Your expertise will be instrumental in turning our passion for equine health into a thriving business.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the technical architecture of the Tru-Stride app, ensuring it supports advanced movement analysis and scalability for future enhancements.
- Lead the development process by collaborating with developers and third-party vendors to build a reliable, high-performance application tailored to equine health needs.
- Define and prioritize user requirements for the app, ensuring maximum usability and accessibility for veterinarians, trainers, and recreational riders.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to test and refine the app’s accuracy in detecting abnormal horse gaits, maintaining the highest standards of reliability.
- Guide the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning) to enhance Tru-Stride’s capabilities and keep us at the forefront of the industry.
- Provide strategic input on technical budgeting and resource allocation, optimizing our pre-revenue stage for efficient growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technical leader in a startup or tech-driven environment, with a track record of building innovative software solutions.
- Expertise in mobile app development (iOS/Android), with knowledge of cloud computing, data analytics, and potentially AI/ML technologies.
- Strong leadership skills to guide a small, remote team and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Passion for animals is a must, with a deep affection for their well-being—bonus points if you have a love for horses and equestrian activities.
- Degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
