Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Administrator to oversee the administration, support, and maintenance of our Microsoft 365 environment. In this role, you will interact with various departments across the organization, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate has strong experience in supporting Microsoft 365 products, managing user identity and roles, and implementing security and threat management practices. This position also includes supporting and optimizing Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, Dynamics, and related automation tasks to meet organizational needs. This position will be a Hybrid role based out of Jacksonville, FL or Charlotte, NC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Act as the System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Office applications, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Dynamics.
- Manage and optimize Dynamics, including user provisioning, workflows, data management, and integrations with other Microsoft 365 services.
- Administer Microsoft 365 licensing, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
- Entra and Security Management:
- Administer and maintain Entra, focusing on Group Policies, permissions, account provisioning, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, security compliance, and threat analytics.
- Configure and support Azure O365 environments, including distribution, access, and security groups.
- System Reliability and Maintenance:
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Dynamics, and associated third-party integrations for backups, archival, and mail filtering.
- Maintain and optimize the Intune environment, leveraging AutoPilot for deployments and enhancing device compliance metrics.
- Support and Escalation:
- Provide advanced technical support and serve as an escalation point for Service Desk issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
- Conduct high-level diagnostics and root cause analysis for escalated issues.
- Automation and Process Improvement:
- Develop and deploy automation scripts using tools such as Azure Functions, PowerShell, Power Automate, and Python to improve system management, software distribution, and group policy application.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive innovation in workflows and administration procedures.
- Documentation and Standards:
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Microsoft 365 administration.
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and decommissioning of server systems and applications.
Skills, Licenses, Certifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management.
- Proficiency in scripting tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell, and VBScript.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS administration.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance is a plus.
- Expertise in Intune configuration, deployments, and device compliance management.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 administration, customization, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Administration role within an enterprise environment.
- Professional-level certifications in Azure, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Dynamics 365, or similar are highly preferred. Certifications may substitute for up to one year of relevant experience per certification.

Salary Transparency Statement:
At Brightway Insurance, we believe in transparency and equity in compensation. We are committed to providing our employees with a clear understanding of their salary structure and opportunities for growth.
For this position, the salary range is $97k+based on experience, skills, role responsibilities, internal equity, and market data. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay and is intended to provide candidates with a clear understanding of potential earnings before they apply.
