We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a attention to details, and strong communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
Prepare reports on key risk indicators, performance indicators, and other cyber security insights derived from multiple information sources.
Analyze security incidents, investigate root causes, and document findings.
Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards.
Prepare detailed reports on security assessments, incident investigations and compliance efforts.
Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls and mitigate risks.
Present finding and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in information security or a related field.
Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO, 27001, CIS)
Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISA, CRISC)
Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response methodologies.

Education

Relevant college degree plus two years of experience, or five years of relevant experience.
