One such problem is the real time allocation of assets to freight in a large transportation network to increase asset utilization, on-time delivery and overall fleet productivity.
The HOPTEK team is rapidly growing and is looking for a software engineers for our Engineering and Operations departments. These roles will be a great learning experience for understanding the development and delivery of a portfolio of products.
Role
As a software engineer you will be responsible for design and development of product components such as web applications, mobile apps, microservices, REST APIs, advanced analytics, and core graph-based software algorithms. You will work in roles such as full-stack development, algorithm development, cyber security, infrastructure engineering, UX/HCI or analytics
Responsibilities :
·Database design and detailed technical requirements to support the product goals
·Handling coding works or parts of assigned projects
·Maintaining code / design quality as per set guideline and standards
·Testing ongoing projects using test driven development techniques
·Remove technical impediments
·Facilitating code / design reuse and efficient open source code integration
Requirements
Education:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors.
Experience:
· 1-3 years of experience developing web applications, database systems and external micro services
·Eagerness and ability to find creative ways to assemble open source solutions with custom made code into cost effective software solutions.
·Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud-based architecture in the design and deployment of modular software is desirable.
