Position Summary
This Software Engineer position will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and maintaining BI reports and dashboards. A successful candidate must have strong capabilities with the Microsoft reporting suite, SQL Server and related back-end technologies. Experience ingesting and modeling data from a wide variety of sources is expected.
This is a FT WFH role and is accepting candidates from AK, AZ, FL, ID, MT, OR, TX, WA.
Pay Range
$89,734.13 - $116,679.91 annually (depending on experience). *Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Services, or similar) with 3+ years’ experience; or 7+ years of relevant programming experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI and PBIRS
- Strong interpersonal communication skills needed
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, organizational, and detail orientation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and all projects, both large and small, work with frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities. Must be well versed with SDLC methodologies
- Ability to come into work on time and daily
- Experience working with Dev Ops strongly preferred
- Experience in health insurance, Cognizant/Trizetto Facets is a plus
Primary Functions:
- Develop new reports, dashboards and apps using Power BI (both cloud and on-premises)
- Design and develop new stored procedures and systems as part of the implementation of new business requirements
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and create release notes for new features
- Work with project managers, team members, and business analysts to define requirements for enterprise applications and reporting solutions
- Implement and test designs for accuracy and performance tuning
- Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Working Conditions & Contact with Others
- On-call status, office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work, constant sitting, and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens. Work in excess of 40 hours per week, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet business need.
