Improving cloud solutions and digitizing buying processes, NIKE stays ahead of competition. Within the ITAM team we rely on a range of SAM (software asset management) and HAM (hardware asset management) tools. These tools lay out the landscape of solutions used within the company; the data is critical to execute key accountabilities of the ITAM team.
Goal is to ensure effective data & tools management, at the enterprise level. Support is needed in handling ITAM data and foundational tools.
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter type Software Asset Analyst that approaches problems with an engineering mentality, is experienced with technology and big data, and comfortable with learning new tools and techniques. Experience with sophisticated data analysis and previous exposure to asset management are desired. You should feel comfortable working in a large organization working across cross-functional teams.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Maintain software publisher entitlement and contract data in SAM Pro; liaison with the Enterprise Services team that manages the ServiceNow platform at Nike.
- Ensure accurate software usage data appear in SAM Pro, connected with the entitlement data.
- Manage license access through the ServiceNow software catalog and partner with platform engineering teams to seamlessly deliver technology to end users.
- Optimize license utilization through ongoing harvesting and reallocation.
- Drive on-time contract renewals through the software intake request process; collaborate with cross-functional support teams and product owners.
- Manage publisher related incidents in an efficient manner.
- Document processes and collaborate with 3rd party external resources.
- Set smart targets and manage towards these goals.

This role has specific focus on multi-functional partnerships with Global Risk Management, Corporate Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Compliance Partners, and numerous external vendors.
What You Bring To Nike
Education
- Computer science degree and/or bachelor’s degree (preferred educational subject area within Technology, Business, Finance or Procurement); or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.
- 5+ years of experience that demonstrates strong domain expertise in Asset Management and/or Procurement and/or Sourcing and/or Vendor Management and/or IT Risk Management.
Experience
- Managing software asset publisher licenses in a large corporate setting.
- Experience with software asset management tools like ServiceNow or Flexera.
- Familiarity with CMDB solutions and discovery tools like NexThink, Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Jamf, SCCM, Active Directory, Intune, and the ServiceNow agents.
- Capability to visualize data, transform data into practical insights.
