Senior Cloud Engineer Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure design, and deployment, as well as experience with automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work closely with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud using CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions to meet the needs of the business.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud infrastructure and configurations.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on cloud technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
