POSITION SUMMARY:
This position involves analyzing and reviewing payroll, tax, and personnel records to determine employer compliance with collective bargaining agreements. Senior Payroll Compliance Auditor takes on more complex projects and is typically the lead auditor on team projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Performing compliance audits on payroll, tax, and other personnel records.
- Computing audit results and preparing audit reports.
- Researching payroll records, reports, and contracts.
- Traveling to employer facilities to conduct on-site inspection of records.
- Scheduling and coordinating audit appointments with employers.
- Training new staff auditors so they can work independently.
- Able to determine audit strategy for difficult or large audits.
- Delegate and supervise staff compliance auditors on team projects.
- Manage large or difficult audits involving team of auditors in the field.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
- Assist staff compliance auditors on day to day questions.

TRAVEL:
- This positions requires 50% travel locally and nationwide. A driver�s license and good driving record is required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a business-related field.
- 1+ years of experience auditing payroll.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with or knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience with or knowledge of payroll systems.
