The Role
Client Experience and Outcomes
- Ensure WTW and CRB value proposition is clearly understood by colleagues. Drive use of consistent, high level client deliverables to communicate the value of solutions to clients.
- Foster a trusted advisor relationship with key clients. Act as Advocate Partner and/or directly handle select clients as appropriate.
- Be active, present and visible in the local marketplace and business community
- Drive innovation and excellent client experiences by connecting WTW expertise across LOBs, specialty, geography, product and industry.
- In conjunction with Broking, maintain key senior underwriting relationships with top insurers to bolster market leverage in the best interests of our clients.
Profitable Growth
- Achieve revenue growth and retention KPIs
- Develop and implement organic growth plans focused on key segments, industries and LOBs – to support growth both in NA and globally.
- Drive the development of new and expanded opportunities by working closely with Producers, LOBs and Market/Industry leads to engage applicable internal and external resources.
- Wherever possible, personally lead and support new business opportunities in both the Middle Market and Large Accounts segments
- Drive retention by analyzing clients at risk on a regular basis to maintain retention goals and develop action plans.
- Provide production coaching, pricing discipline guidance, utilization of sales tools (dashboards, pipelines, etc.) to optimize growth objectives within business.
- Create and execute marketing plans in collaboration with the geography leader.
- Profitability – Diligence to deliver on Operating Income goals for market, region and North America including the Philadelphia market.
- Efficiently manage talent investment – comp plan adherence with minimal exceptions, minimize production bonuses on house business to non-producers, maximize conversion to house books and minimize book rollover to new producers upon succession, address under-performing investment hires.
- Lead pricing of services efforts to achieve consistent, accurate, segment-appropriate and profitable pricing of services.
- Drive Accounts Receivable collections, promote DSO focus and use capacity planning tools to ensure right work/right role.
- Manage Travel and Expenses in market, scrutinize sponsorships, charitable giving and subscriptions.
Talent – Recruit, engage and develop high performing CRB talent
- Engage colleagues on a regular basis and set talent development process for personal/team skill development and growth-centric culture. Foster a culture of inclusion and diversity and commitment to WTW values.
- Constantly build talent pipelines able to meet recruiting goals for production and advocacy. Engage and cultivate relationships – embrace recruiting as a core element of growing the business – including effective use of internal resources and processes.
- Work collaboratively with regional, market, resource leaders regarding talent needs to align best internal and external candidates for key recruiting needs and assist in the onboarding and development of colleagues.
