The Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst will perform independent and objective assessments of the business with the goal of improving risk management, operations, security, compliance, and the overall system of internal controls. This role is responsible for partnering with Berkadia departments and functions to ensure that risks, key performance indicators, key risk indicators and risk scoring are captured.

- Develop a partnership with various business units to identify risks and controls throughout the organization.
- Assist in maturing ERM objectives through corporate educational risk training, risk assessment survey, risk workshops, and activities focusing on the advancement of risk accountability.
- Continuous improvement on Berkadia ERM program through utilizing risk automation tools, maintenance of ERM policies and documentation, evaluation on the remediation of risk deficiencies, perform root cause analysis on risk events, and build risk awareness within the Company’s culture.
- Assist with ERM reporting to senior management and facilitates risk workshops on a periodic basis.
- Provide periodic update on ERM Key Risk and Key Performance Indicators.
- Support in ensuring Berkadia’s line of business and functions are developing and implementing appropriate controls and procedures enterprise wide, while accounting for risks inherent in the business units.
- Other duties as assigned.
We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Education and/or prior experience in risk management
- Prior experience in mortgage industry preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to extrapolate conclusions from large data sets.
- Preferred experience creating Risk Assessments and/or using GRC technology.
- Strong PC skills including experience with MS Project, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Power BI, or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity (1 day a week onsite in Ambler, PA)
