Job Summary
Seeking a self-motivated and service-oriented IT professional to assume a lead role in IT engineering and operations as part of a team of IT professionals operating in a flexible/hybrid work arrangement to provide Help Desk and operational support 7-days per week. The ideal candidate will be eager for professional development and thus will welcome daily challenges as opportunities to develop oneself and to make ITCON operations more efficient, scalable and robust.

Roles And Responsibilities
Technical, Logistical and Operational: Must be able to either independently perform or delegate and oversee all necessary system administration and IT engineering tasks and activities for ITCON's internal needs, including:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
Automate cloud operations and workflows using tolls like PowerShell, and Power Automate
Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environment in accordance with industry standards
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business goals
Optimize cloud performance and cost through continuous monitoring and improvement
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud-based systems and processes
Perform server administration tasks including but not limited to regular patching, hardening/securing virtual machines, resource monitoring, and research events log warnings, and errors
Manage and monitor network infrastructure to ensure 100% network availability across the board
Monitor network traffic, and configure rules to minimize exposure
Configure, manage, and monitor endpoint deployments utilizing Windows Autopilot
Configure, and deploy patches to endpoints utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Manager
Administer, and manage user account creation in O365 admin center
Administer license counts, and billing profiles within O365 admin center, and partner center
Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to remediate vulnerabilities discovered within the organization
Leverage Microsoft Purview to govern, protect, and manage data across the organization
Assist the team with incident resolution, and respond to service requests
Partner with internal departments and external partners to communicate project status and activities
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships for procurement of IT hardware and software
Maintain IT equipment inventory utilizing asset management tools
Plan and support internal and external auditing and governance activities.
Leadership and Organizational: Must lead other members of the IT team and all assigned projects, tasks and initiatives with minimal (i.e., strategic and general) assistance and involvement by supervisor or management. This responsibility requires:
Excellent oral and written communication skills and people management skills to facilitate critical inter department, stake holder, and contracting team discussions.
Taking initiative and responsibility for all assigned tasks, issues and requests; new developments that require or stand to benefit from a response from IT; and, assignments delegated to other team members.
Ability to identify issues and risks in capabilities, skills, performance, etc. and provide actionable information (e.g., solutions proposals, strategies and options) to decision-makers, solution providers, customers/users and other internal and external audiences, as appropriate.
Administrative and Corporate: Models exemplary behavior by adhering to company policies and displaying integrity in all actions.
Experience, Skill And Other Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related/comparable technical field
5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-worthy (secure, scalable and SLA-managed) cloud operations (Microsoft Azure experience is required; any AWS and GCP experience is a big plus)
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and design principals, and virtualization and container technologies
Expert in Windows, MAC, and Linux operating systems with strong configuration and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of CMMC and ISO requirements
Proficiency in scripting and automation
Proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM), including Microsoft Intune
Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Familiarity with ITSM tools solutions such as: ManageEngine, and ServiceNow
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Real-life experience with or working knowledge of various enterprise-worthy (secure, scalable, and centrally manageable) remote access, remote desktop and remote work technologies and solutions, including, Remote Desktop (e.g., Azure RDP and VDI), VPN. cloud-based tools and applications (e.g., web applications and MS Office 365) and thin-clients in corporate or government (e.g., federal agency) environments.

Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Must be willing and able to work six (6) days out of the week, two (2) in the office, including evenings and weekends and some holidays as a member of a team of IT professionals with 7-day-per-week Help Desk support responsibilities. We allow flexible work hours and remote/hybrid arrangements.
