Responsibilities Of The Role

As a Network Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in designing, managing, and maintaining our internal WAN, LAN, and VPN environments. Your expertise will contribute to a stable network environment, ensuring maximum productivity for our team. You'll be responsible for managing all scheduled network tasks, such as updating anti-virus files and monitoring network servers, guaranteeing a seamless flow of operations.

In addition, you'll maintain comprehensive network documentation, oversee telecommunications, and manage telephone systems. As a valuable team player, you'll be on hand to assist your colleagues with any hardware or application-related issues they encounter. Moreover, you'll take the lead in testing, documenting, and managing the company's Disaster Recovery plans, ensuring our business remains resilient.

Monitoring and responding to the IT ticketing system
working on internal and external computer, network, tablet and smartphone support issues
Learning and researching new technology and knowledge for existing and future projects
Setting up new computers, tablets and phones
Fixing computer hardware issues
Diagnosing network and firewall issues, maintenance on servers and networks

Preferred Experience For The Network Administrator

To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with:

1-3 years of relevant LAN/WAN administration experience.
Experience with Barracuda
Proficiency in networking, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Familiarity with VOIP Phone Systems and Virtual Environments and Servers.
Knowledge of Windows Active Directory.
