Key Responsibilities
Desktop Support & Windows Administration
- Provide efficient Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for end-users, solving hardware and software issues with a focus on quick resolution.
- Administer and maintain Windows-based infrastructure, including Windows Server 2008 VMs and VMware 6.5, ensuring stable and secure environments.
- Take ownership of migrating virtualized infrastructure to a standalone host, optimizing performance and scalability.
- Lead the transition of file and print services to SharePoint, enhancing collaboration and streamlining document management.
Office 365 & SharePoint Administration
- Manage the successful migration of local files to SharePoint, improving accessibility and organization.
- Administer SharePoint permissions, ensuring smooth access control and collaboration across departments.
- Implement and oversee Office 365 backup solutions, safeguarding data with redundancy and ensuring business continuity.
- Utilize Entra MDM (Microsoft Endpoint Manager) to deploy and manage devices, enhancing security and performance across endpoints.
- Ensure the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies for both cloud and on-premise resources, particularly for remote workers.
Enterprise Application Support & Deployment
- Spearhead the QuickBooks migration project, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal downtime and full functionality.
- Provide ongoing support for manufacturing-specific CRM/ERP systems, ensuring smooth adoption and performance.
Networking & Telephony
- Manage and optimize a full UniFi network across two sites, including UDM Pro, switches, access points, and cameras, all within the Ubiquiti ecosystem.
- Lead the management and upgrades of CNC and DNS-based network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Oversee the migration of the phone system from Samsung 7200 series to a cloud-based IP solution, ensuring seamless integration with the existing network.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize printer and copier services, ensuring smooth operation in partnership with our vendor, Dex.
- Provide ongoing IT support, troubleshooting various internal applications and systems.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to enhance internal workflows.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal system performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in IT to help future-proof their infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support and administration with a solid background in desktop and server environments.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, cloud backup, and security solutions like MFA and Entra MDM.
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments and enterprise applications such as QuickBooks, CRM, ERP.
- Solid understanding of network management, including CNC, DNS, and IP-based phone systems.
- SolidWorks PDM migration and administration experience is a big plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong project management abilities to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner.

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- CompTIA Network+
- ITIL Foundation Certification
