Requirements

Responsibilities:

Define and lead the overall technology strategy for the SaaS platform, aligning with business goals and customer needs
Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of the platform's infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, developers, and tech leads to drive innovation, quality, and high-performance software delivery
Collaborate with product management, design, and business teams to ensure alignment on product development and technology decisions
Drive continuous improvement in development processes through the implementation of best practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance platform performance, security, and user experience
Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and optimize for cost-effectiveness, security, and performance
Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, etc.)
Develop and manage the technical roadmap, balancing long-term goals with short-term deliverables
Oversee budgeting for the technology department and ensure efficient resource allocation

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role, ideally within a SaaS company
Expertise in SaaS architecture, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and infrastructure management
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
Experience in building and scaling cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Node.js
Knowledge of data management, API development, and microservices architecture
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
Ability to align technology strategy with business goals and customer needs
Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in leading SaaS products from inception to scale
Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or big data technologies
Previous experience with security compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR
