Job Summary: The Lead Data Scientist will spearhead the data science initiatives at GhangorCloud, focusing on advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive business insights and innovation. This role involves leading a team of data scientists and analysts, developing and implementing data models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and data analysts.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Data Strategy and Implementation:
Develop and execute the data science strategy aligned with business objectives.
Design and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms.
Ensure the integration of data science solutions with existing systems.
Model Development and Deployment:
Create predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Implement and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Monitor and refine models to improve performance and accuracy.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with engineering, product management, and business teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Research and Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Explore new data sources and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.
Drive innovation by identifying and implementing cutting-edge data solutions.
Data Governance and Compliance:
Ensure data integrity, quality, and security in all data science processes.
Adhere to data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
Implement best practices for data management and documentation.

Qualifications

Education:
Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of leading data science projects from conception to deployment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
