Havenshine is a rapidly growing seed-stage start-up developing the world’s most innovative driverless solutions for autonomous commercial off-road equipment. Our goal is to redefine driverless off-road software and create solutions that are 10x more efficient and 5x safer than today’s approaches. Today, Havenshine’s driverless solutions are implemented on commercial electrical zero-turn lawnmowers and are utilized by leading park districts, universities, and professional landscaping companies.
Havenshine is looking for a CTO to lead the company's technical strategy and vision. This is an executive-level role with executive-level equity participation.
Responsibilities
- Define the future architecture of Havenshine's driverless software.
- Own the roadmap for the implementation of new features and ideas from MVP to production.
- Participate in, and lead, international standards organizations and trade associations.
- Be a member of the company’s executive leadership team to set the technical direction of the company.
- Own the strategic pillar of Technical Leadership.
- Assist in building a technical team.
- Work with key customers to refine Product-Market Fit.
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- Strong experience in autonomous vehicle software, machine vision, or a related field (e.g., geospatial mapping) or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to look strategically across the market and adjacent markets.
- Expert level understanding of sensors and algorithms used for autonomous navigation and safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate key customer requirements into deep technical concepts.
