Overview:
Veronica Beard is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Strategy & Reporting Analyst to support the Chief of Staff. Responsibilities:
- Reporting Execution, Analysis, & Enhancement: Support the Chief of Staff in creating, continually refining, and further automating weekly and monthly reporting. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) monthly, quarterly, and annually across departments, developing strategies to align implementation with company objectives.
- Board Reporting: Support the Chief of Staff in preparing quarterly and annual Board reporting and presentations.
- Corporate Strategy Support: Assist in company-wide strategy development and implementation, ongoing reporting/monitoring, and internal stakeholder engagement.
- Business Analysis: Conduct ad hoc business analyses and preparing additional materials and presentations as needed.
- Data Collaboration: Partner with data team to develop automated dashboards to better and more easily track business performance.
- Project Management: Help maintain project plans for key company cross-functional initiatives (e.g., sustainability), ensuring timelines and responsibilities are clear and that there’s ongoing accountability and reporting.
- Research and Insights: Conduct competitive analysis, market analysis, and research to identify business growth opportunities and contribute to strategic planning efforts
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 1-2 years of experience in financial reporting/analysis, corporate strategy, investment management, investor relations, management consulting, investment banking, or comparable experience. Experience in fashion/retail is preferred but not required.
- Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis capabilities, with experience analyzing financial statements. Experience with financial modeling is preferred but not required.
- Executive Communication Experience: Skilled at effectively communicating important business insights to senior leadership, both verbally and through business presentations.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter who works strategically and efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects effectively and keep them on track.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in work quality and detail oriented.
The salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000. The relevant salary range will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
