Job Description:
This job is responsible for enabling teams and Agile Release Trains to learn, implement, and mature Lean Agile principles and practices. Key responsibilities include providing thought leadership related to Lean Agile, educating and influencing leaders to improve the operating model and end-to-end delivery process, and empowering teams to become self managing to fulfill cross functional potential, and form an attitude of relentless improvement. Job expectations may include training and coaching teams, leading roles on agile and modern engineering practices, and mentoring Agile Coaches.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands on training/coaching with teams in all aspects of Lean Agile.
- Lead roles, teams, and leaders to embrace a Lean Agile and learning mindset.
- Provide guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies.
- Help teams to optimize implementation of Enterprise Agile standards and practices, and coach team members through change and along their maturity journey.
- Help to identify and resolve organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across teams and with stakeholders, including external teams, business partners, and other Agile Release Trains/ programs.
- Influence and guide business and technology leaders on changes that enable Agility.
- Facilitate significant improvements to the operating model and the end-to-end delivery process.
- Establish/lead Agile Communities of Practice and provide guidance in on going activities. Become a member of the Agile Center of Excellence.
