To be successful in this role, you:
- Have minimum 7 years’ experience in healthcare, preferably in the Health Plan business processes and business/systems analysis.
- Possess the capability to convert business requirements into effective data solutions and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful execution and delivery
- Have experience in managing IS&T project life cycles using Project management tools such as Jira, Azure Devops, Monday or similar.
- Have experience in learning and translating existing business processes and complex data workflows to deliver datasets with real-time availability
Essential functions and Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their goals and needs and translate them into functional/technical requirements for execution using agile methodologies
- Act as a data solution consultant who deeply understands current state business processes and challenges, translating them into data integration solutions
- Negotiate scope and timeline with business leads to deliver high-value business outcomes
- Utilize business process mapping and data modeling to improve the flow of information and provide assets for functional and technical development
- Coordinate the development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment of data exchange solutions within the required timelines
- Documents requirements for data integration, imports, extracts including business process workflow and data flow documentation.
- Triage and troubleshoot production issues related to data processing, transformation and integration.
- Monitor assigned deliverables and coordinate resource requirements to ensure timely completion of assigned projects
- Provides weekly status reports recapping assigned work queue progress, issues, risks, and level of effort, and obtains business owner acceptance for completed efforts and seek change approvals before deployment.
- Promote best practices, guide the team toward continuous improvement, and act as a data consultative resource for internal business and technical staff.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior team members.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including Senior level staff, external vendors, and external clinic staff both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in project Management industry standards/best practices.
- Ability to create data workflow documentation to include data ingestion flow charts and written documentation.
- Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria to support data warehouse development.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles along with reading and writing moderate SQL statements.
- Hands-on experience with visual analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI, and working knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with data modeling, MSSQL and/or Python for ad-hoc analysis, and cloud and native data warehouse systems such as Snowflake, Azure SQL, Redshift, or similar.
- Experience in business requirement gathering and translation into functional and technical specifications with documentation.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodology preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The position is FLSA Exempt and is not eligible for overtime. Based on market data, this position grade is 69 (see full range below) and has a 10% annual incentive target based on company, department, and individual performance goals.
