Must-haves:
- 5+ years of experience working with the entire Microsoft Tech stack
- Experience with L3 troubleshooting
- Microsoft InTune and Azure-based services experience
- Past work experience utilizing a ticketing system
- Strong understanding of Tanium or another client management system, Tanium preferred
- Background working with endpoint monitoring solutions (NexThink, ExtraHop, ControlUp, SCOM)

Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is looking for a L3 Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to sit hybrid in Stamford, CT for a large reinsurance company. In this role, the engineer will enhance remote work capabilities by equipping users with the necessary tools and technologies to work efficiently from any location, domestic or international. They will troubleshoot and analyze service disruptions to identify root causes and develop solutions for improved reliability. Managing end-user computing devices, including OS and third-party patching, is key, along with implementing CIS critical security controls and access policies. The engineer will design scalable solutions to adapt to changing business needs, stay ahead of technology trends, and ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments. Administering Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, proactively monitoring the environment, and developing performance baselines are also part of their responsibilities. They will contribute to Knowledge Base articles for L1 and L2 support teams and handle L3 escalations, troubleshooting issues related to endpoints, Microsoft O365, Windows operating systems, hardware drivers, physical and virtual platforms, and networking problems. Lastly, they will assist on projects. An example of a project they might work on is a universal print migration. They will need to implement a solution on all end points to allow users to print, making it easier to connect on peripheral devices.
