An employer is looking for a Top Secret Network/Cyber Engineer for a Space Systems Integration program supporting a DOD customer in El Segundo, CA. The program will focus on providing integration across multiple areas at the base working directly with the government and supporting in meetings and briefings across multiple different offices and agencies. The Engineer will perform about 60% of their work within network engineering and 40% in cyber security functions. They will complete annual reviews, updates, certify and reaccreditations for all classified and unclassified network systems, stand-alone systems and mission systems. They will monitor and maintain the Vulnerability Management System by entering all closed Technical Compliance Network Orders into the DISA database and close out SCAP, and ACAS scan findings. They will also perform Network Engineering tasks involving setting up of routers and switches along with patching.
Must-Haves
- Active TS or TS/SCI Clearance
- STEM Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience within Network Engineering and Cyber Security functions:
- RMF/NIST, EMASS or Xacta, network technologies (firewall, router, switches), patching, STIGs, etc.
Nice to Haves
- CISSP certificate
- Knowledge of 8570 compliance
Compensation:
$75 - $86/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
