POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Data Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and managing data architecture, implementing data warehousing solutions, extracting and integrating data from multiple systems, and applying data modeling techniques. This role centralizes data into a unified repository, creates complex reports and dashboards for actionable insights, and ensures high data quality and system performance. It is crucial for enhancing data-driven decision-making, improving operational efficiency, and supporting regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design and Develop Data Architecture: Create and maintain a robust data architecture framework that supports the organization's data warehousing, integration, analytics, and future data needs.
2. Implement Data Warehousing Solutions: Establish and manage a centralized data warehouse to integrate data from multiple systems and ensure a unified and accessible data repository.
3. Extract, Integrate, and Model Data: Perform data extraction, integration, and modeling tasks to consolidate information, optimize data structures, and ensure effective analysis and reporting.
4. Develop and Execute Data Management Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive data management strategy, including governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management, to ensure data consistency and reliability.
5. Leverage Cloud Solutions for Big Data: Design and deploy cloud-based solutions for big data storage, processing, and analytics, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
6. Produce Reports and Dashboards: Generate and maintain standardized reports and interactive dashboards to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
7. Monitor Data Quality and System Performance: Continuously oversee and improve data quality, system performance, and reliability, addressing issues as they arise.
8. Provide Technical Expertise and Guidance: Serve as a technical advisor, offering guidance on tools, processes, and design for data-related projects across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management, data warehousing, data integration, data modeling, ETL processes, and data analytics.

CompTIA Security+ (Required)
Valid Texas Driver’s License (Required)
Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (Preferred)
