Job Overview:
As Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the company's information technology strategy to ensure the stability and security of the technology infrastructure. You will lead the technology team and manage system development, data analysis and network security to support the company's business goals. This position involves working directly with the executive team, board of directors and external investors to evaluate industry trends, technology opportunities and innovation strategies to help the company continue to expand market share.
Main responsibilities:
Information Technology Management:
Oversee and optimize the company's information technology strategy to ensure the stability and security of the technical infrastructure.
Develop and implement technical processes to improve the efficiency of system development and maintenance.
Global Expansion:
Develop technical strategies for entering new markets and drive Bitstamp's international expansion to support its global user base.
Ensure that the company's technical activities comply with the legal and regulatory requirements of different countries and regions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with product, operations, finance and compliance teams to drive business goals.
Build and lead a high-performance technical team and cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration.
User Experience:
Optimize technical support services to improve users' trading experience and trust in the platform.
Use data analysis and market research to improve technical decisions and service quality.
Risk Management:
Work with the compliance and risk management team to ensure the security of the platform and the legality of technical activities.
Predict and reduce potential technical risks to ensure business continuity and stability.
Job Requirements:
Experience Background:
At least 10 years of senior management experience in fintech, cryptocurrency or related industries.
Successful in information technology management, system development or cross-departmental collaboration.
Leadership:
Strong leadership skills, able to manage complex international teams, drive cross-cultural collaboration and efficiency.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology and the relevant regulatory environment.
Communication and Strategic Thinking:
Excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with the board, investors and external partners.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above; Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related majors preferred.
