Title: System Administrator I
Reports To: VP of Information Technology
General Description of Position:
The System Administrator role is responsible for the MS Windows systems, CRM management, and supporting the IT manager. These information systems would include computer systems, data networks and telecommunications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Windows server administration and deployment in Azure and on-premise environments.
- System support and management of Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central CRM.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements to ensure system stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Monitoring the internet connection and networks for threats and security risks
- Ability to communicate effectively, on both a technical and non-technical level, with appropriate staff at all levels, as well as with vendors.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Perform related and special duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
- Windows server administration.
- Competencies in routing, firewall, Intrusion detection system (IDS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
- Previous management of Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central CRM preferable.
- Previous management of Linux systems helpful.
Accountability:
Regular reporting to the VP of IT for the purpose of developing ideas and strategies; reviewing plans and progress; evaluating results; and addressing management needs.

Salary:
The position provides a competitive salary based on previous work experience, education, acquired skills, and established relationships. The salary is commensurate with current standards for comparable positions and responsibilities within publishing and other leading not-for-profit ministries. Compensation for every Crossway employee is reviewed and evaluated annually by the Executive Compensation Committee (ECC) of the Crossway Board of Directors.
